OO2. MARRY YOUR DAUGHTER, Brian McKnight requested by: iamhermionemalfoy
Can marry your daughter? And make her my wife? I’m gonna marry your princess - And make her my queen.
I can’t wait to smile When she walks down the isle She’ll be the most beautiful bride that I’ve ever seen.
I want her to be the only girl That I love for the rest of my life.
Nerve-wracking. That’s how Draco would describe his deciding visit at the Grangers. He was going to ask for their daughter’s hand in marriage, and he was sure as heck that it won’t be that easy.
Hermione’s parents were relatively good-looking (‘Which explains their daughter’s unexplainable beauty,’ he mentally noted); her father was only a few inches taller than he was, and her mother was her exact look-alike - minus the unruly mane (which wasn’t that much unruly now). It was a good thing, though (he thought), that her mom was giggling and grinning at his direction, which flustered Hermione a lot (he would often hear her shush her mother, saying how embarassing it is for her).
“So, young man,” Mister Granger started, breaking the silence, and a sweat drop rolled down Draco’s back. “You’re asking me for my daughter’s hand in marriage, is that it?”
“Tell me why I should allow that. Tell me why I should give you our princess.”
Everyone’s head snapped towards Mister Granger. Missus Granger looked like she’s just seen someone being resurrected right before her very eyes. Draco and Hermione did look the same. Draco cleared his throat, and Hermione looked expectantly at him. A soft smirk emerged from his lips, and Hermione knew that everything would be fine. She smiled widely as she anticipated how her man would answer.
